_for this assignment, my first task was to create my own typeface. i started by taking grid paper and deciding on a linear grid to give all the letters a unifying feel.
[front cover]:
_i decided to create a cover for the daft punk album "Random Acess Memories" as my favorite song is "Instant Crush". i wanted to capture the feel of love just out of reach.
[back cover]:
_i did not want my type to remain too clean. after studying my type, it reminded me of stitches. to create this album i sewed together images and type for a mixed media peice.
