Random Access Memories is an album by Daft Punk with songs about love and friendship with an upbeat, techno energy. The current album cover shows imagery of their iconic helmets delving into the aesthetics of the music.

After listening to the album, specifically Instant Crush, a straight edged futuristic type face was designed. As a way to break away from the energy of the music in a different perspective, the underlying message of love lost in the song was shown through this cover. Rather than a digital approach, the type was repourposed into stitching on a collage cover showing people close but separated from their partners.
